About Evergreen

Two clinics. Six registered practitioners. Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, delivered with depth and care in Melbourne's southern and south-eastern suburbs.

Rooted in Chinese medicine. Delivered with care.

Evergreen Chinese Medical Centre offers Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture across two Melbourne locations — Frankston and Murrumbeena. The practice was founded and continues to be led by Dr Jim Xing, a Guangzhou University-trained TCM practitioner and former lecturer at Hainan Medical University, whose clinical experience spans more than 30 years.

The team at Evergreen is driven to achieve the highest quality of care for patients. Practitioners are professionally qualified, AHPRA-registered, and members of Australian TCM professional associations — a group that is, as the clinic itself describes, friendly, approachable, and always willing to help with any concerns.

Consultations at both clinics are by appointment, Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Why patients choose Evergreen

1

Professionally qualified

All practitioners hold recognised formal qualifications — degrees from RMIT University and, in the case of Dr Jim Xing, a Bachelor of TCM from Guangzhou University in China — and are registered with CMBA under AHPRA.

2

Proven experience

Dr Jim Xing has more than 30 years of clinical practice in Melbourne, supported by a team of experienced RMIT-trained practitioners. The clinic has been treating patients since at least 2013, when Sophia Xuefen Wang joined the team.

3

Tailored treatment

Traditional Chinese medicine looks beyond the symptom to the root pattern. Two patients with the same complaint may receive different treatments, because the underlying imbalances differ. No two treatment plans are the same.

4

Natural ingredients

Chinese herbal prescriptions at Evergreen use natural ingredients — no artificial chemicals or surgery. All products are dispensed from TGA-approved sources in our in-house herbal dispensary.

5

Caring staff

The team at Evergreen is professional, friendly, and approachable, always willing to address any concerns a patient may have. Every consultation is conducted with respect and unhurried attention.

6

Safe and hygienic

Sterile, single-use, disposable acupuncture needles on every visit. Australian-standard clinic equipment throughout both locations. TGA-approved herbal products — meeting Australian regulatory requirements.

7

Convenient locations

Frankston is close to Jubilee Park, Monash University's Peninsula campus, and local bus routes (770/775/776/782/789/790/791). Murrumbeena is within walking distance of Chadstone and 10 minutes from Caulfield Station (bus routes 623/624/626/822/900).

8
