Dr Jim Xing

Dr Jim Xing is the founder and principal of Evergreen Chinese Medical Centre. He holds a Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine — a rigorous five-year full-time degree in China — and has served as an attending physician and lecturer at Hainan Medical University.

A registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA) under AHPRA, and a member of both AACMA and CMASA, Dr Xing brings more than 30 years of clinical experience in Melbourne. His practice emphasises the careful diagnosis of root patterns rather than surface symptoms.

Dr Helen Bourke

AHPRA / CMBA Registered AACMA Member BAppSci Chinese Medicine, RMIT

Dr Helen Bourke is a registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia and a member of AACMA. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chinese Medicine and Human Biology from RMIT University, and undertook an internship in Nanjing, China in 2005, deepening her clinical training in a traditional setting.

Dr Bourke brings a warm and considered approach to patient care, drawing on both her academic foundation and her experience across a broad range of presenting conditions.

Dr Yuxiu (Connie) Xia

AHPRA Registered CMASA Member WFCMY Member PhD, University of Melbourne

Dr Connie Xia is a registered acupuncturist and herbalist with AHPRA, a member of CMASA, and a member of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Yunqi Societies (WFCMY). She holds a double degree in Chinese Medicine — a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science — from RMIT University.

In 2012 she completed a PhD in Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the University of Melbourne, focusing on asthma and airway research, followed by an NHMRC Peter Doherty Fellowship. This scientific background informs her clinical practice and her understanding of the body's respiratory and immune systems.

Dr Erica Jia Liu

AHPRA Registered CMASA Member BHealthSci & BAppSci, RMIT

Dr Erica Jia Liu is an AHPRA-registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturist, and a member of CMASA. She holds a double degree in Chinese Medicine — Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science — from RMIT University, and was mentored by Dr Jim Xing at Evergreen during her clinical development.

Dr Liu practises at both the Murrumbeena and Frankston clinics. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, which allows her to communicate with a wider patient community.

Dr Wenyu (Wendy) Liu

AHPRA Registered CMASA Member BHealthSci with Distinction, RMIT

Dr Wendy Liu is an AHPRA-registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist, and a member of CMASA. She holds a double degree in Chinese Medicine — Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science — from RMIT University, graduating with Distinction and receiving multiple High Achiever prizes.

She has studied under acupuncturist Yang Zhen Hai in China, gaining direct training in the Huang Di Nei Zhen technique. Dr Liu practises at the Murrumbeena clinic.

Sophia Xuefen Wang

Dual Qualified Since 2011 Certified in Dry Needling Evergreen since 2013

Sophia Xuefen Wang is a dual-qualified remedial massage therapist and aromatherapist, practising since 2011. She joined the Evergreen team in 2013 and is also certified in dry needling, integrating this technique alongside her massage practice where appropriate.

Sophia's approach supports the clinic's broader commitment to holistic care — complementing the acupuncture and herbal medicine offered by the medical practitioners at Evergreen.
