What we offer
Our services
Evergreen Chinese Medical Centre delivers acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine within the broader framework of traditional Chinese medicine — each treatment tailored to the individual patient, not merely the presenting symptom.
Service
Acupuncture
Acupuncture involves the precise insertion of fine, sterile, single-use, disposable needles into specific acupoints along the body's meridians — pathways through which Qi (vital energy) flows. When these pathways become blocked or imbalanced, illness and pain follow. Acupuncture restores that flow.
Treatment at Evergreen may also incorporate complementary techniques where clinically appropriate: acupressure, moxibustion, cupping, laser therapy, electro-stimulation, and remedial massage. Each session is planned individually for each patient.
The Acupuncture Evidence Project (2017) reviewed 122 conditions and found evidence of a positive effect of acupuncture for 117 of them — a scope of application that spans acute and chronic complaints, pain, hormonal, digestive, and respiratory conditions.
- Drug-free approach to acute and chronic conditions

- Sterile, single-use disposable needles — safe and hygienic

Foundation
Traditional Chinese Medicine
Traditional Chinese medicine is the philosophical and clinical framework that underpins every service at Evergreen. It treats the patient as a whole person — body, mind, and emotions — and seeks to identify and address the root cause of illness rather than manage its surface presentation. Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine are the two principal tools through which TCM works in our clinics.
Qi and the meridian system
TCM understands health as the unobstructed flow of Qi — vital energy — through a network of meridians that connect the body's organs and systems. Imbalance or blockage in this flow is the source of pain and disease. Treatment restores the natural flow.
Treating the root cause
A TCM diagnosis looks beyond the symptom to the pattern driving it. Two patients with the same complaint may receive different treatments, because the underlying imbalances differ. This tailored approach is one of the distinguishing qualities of Chinese medicine.
Whole-person care
Chinese medicine draws on the relationship between body, mind, and emotion. Stress, digestive function, sleep, and pain are seen as interconnected — and treatment addresses the whole person, not isolated parts. This is holistic in the original clinical sense of the word.
