Evergreen welcomes patients with private health insurance, WorkCover claims, and TAC claims. HICAPS terminals at both clinics allow instant on-the-spot claiming from over 35 private health funds.
Health fund claiming
Insurance & rebates at Evergreen
Traditional Chinese medicine — including acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine — is classed as a complementary health profession in Australia, and consultation fees are claimable from most private health funds. The following arrangements are in place at both the Frankston and Murrumbeena clinics.
Private health insurance
Consultation fees for acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine are claimable from private health funds that include TCM as a recognised complementary health modality. Most major private health funds are included.
HICAPS — claim on the spot
HICAPS terminals are available at both clinics. You can claim your benefit on the spot at the time of your appointment — no paperwork, no waiting for reimbursement. Over 35 private health funds are supported through HICAPS.
WorkCover & TAC
Evergreen accepts WorkCover and TAC (Transport Accident Commission) patients at both clinic locations. Please call the clinic to discuss your specific situation before making an appointment.
Consultation fees: Specific consultation fee amounts are not listed here. Please call the clinic directly — (03) 9785 6688 for Frankston or (03) 9041 8879 for Murrumbeena — and our team will provide current fee information.
Health fund cover: The level of rebate available through your private health insurance depends on your specific policy and health fund. We recommend checking your policy's TCM/complementary health cover before your appointment.
Note: Evergreen does not offer bulk billing. Evergreen does not offer walk-in appointments — all consultations are by phone booking only.
